Most of Europe will remain wet and dreary on Friday as multiple system affect the continent. A lingering low pressure system will continue tracking eastward through southern Europe and the Mediterranean. This system will regain strength as it obtains additional moisture from the Mediterranean Sea and is expected to kick up multiple showers and thunderstorms over Italy, Greece, and Serbia. Light and scattered showers from this system are expected to extend into Romania and the Ukraine. Rome will see scattered showers with highs in the mid-50s(F)/ lower teens(C). Barcelona, however will see drier conditions with a few clouds and highs in the upper 60s(F)/ upper teens(C).
To the north, central Europe will see a short break in wet weather before another system approaches from the north. A weak ridge will build over France, Germany, and Poland, which will allow for a period of sunshine. Paris will see a few clouds with highs in the lower 50s(F)/ lower teens(C), while Krakow will only reach into the 40s(F)/ 6(C), under mostly sunny skies.
Further north, a low pressure system and associated cold front will move into the British Isles. This system will have picked up much moisture from the Atlantic Ocean, and will kick up widespread scattered showers that will stretch into Scandinavia. Expect dreary conditions in London with highs in the lower 50s(F)/ lower teens(C), while Oslo may see a few flurries with highs in the mid-30s(F)/ 2(C).
